Imprints Of Presence

There are places in nature I keep coming back to - places I know so well that my body and senses already know what to expect.

I used to look for inspiration in new locations, far away from home. But over time, I started finding something different in the familiar ones. When I don't have to focus on discovering where I am, I can slow down and notice what is happening within me.

This collection grew out of those moments.

I painted places I return to often - forests, beaches, the sea, quiet parks - but I wasn't trying to capture exactly how they look. I wanted to capture what it feels like to be there. The light, the movement, the calm, the energy, the little things that somehow stay with you after you leave.

You can return to the same place and still discover something new - sometimes about the place and sometimes about yourself.
